1Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and GlobalClassLink ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website at globalclasslink.com or our mobile applications ("Services"), you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if younger), have read these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an institution (e.g., a school), you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

2Description of Services

GlobalClassLink is an all-in-one interactive learning platform that includes:

Teachers — class management, quiz and assignment creation, AI-powered question generation, 3D model tools, live broadcast sessions, class analytics, material sharing, and selling educational content on the Marketplace.
Students — class enrolment, quiz attempts, assignment submission, doubt forums, progress tracking, offline content access, 3D learning model viewing, and purchasing educational content from the Marketplace.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time with reasonable notice where practicable.

3User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must create an account to use most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3.2 User Roles

Accounts are designated as either Teacher or Student at registration. Role-based access controls determine what features and content each user can access. Misrepresenting your role to gain unauthorised access is a material breach of these Terms.

3.3 Account Security

You must notify us immediately at support@globalclasslink.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access caused by your failure to safeguard your credentials.

4Subscription Plans and Payments

4.1 Plan Tiers

The platform offers free and paid subscription plans:

Current pricing is displayed on the Pricing page. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) for users in India. We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice; changes will not affect an active subscription term already paid for.

4.2 Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed securely through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

4.3 Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions are non-recurring by default — you must actively renew when your plan expires. Your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. After expiry, your account automatically reverts to the free tier; your data is retained.

4.4 Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days of the transaction at support@globalclasslink.com.

4.5 Free Tier Limits

Free plan usage is subject to limits set by us (e.g., number of classes, quizzes, or assignments). These limits may change at our discretion. We will provide reasonable notice of reductions that affect existing free usage.

5Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Upload, post, or share content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on another party's rights.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, other users' accounts, or our infrastructure.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform.
Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Services without our prior written consent.
Share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use a single account.
Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim an affiliation.
Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt or damage the Services.
Use the platform to conduct commercial activities (advertising, solicitation, spam) not authorised by us.
List, sell, or distribute on the Marketplace any content that you do not own or for which you do not hold a licence to resell — including textbook chapters, exam papers, publisher materials, or any third-party copyrighted work.
Misrepresent the origin, authorship, or completeness of any Marketplace listing.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without notice and without refund.

6Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on GlobalClassLink — quizzes, questions, assignments, study materials, doubt posts, and other material ("User Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display, and deliver that content solely to provide the Services.

6.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of your User Content. You must have all necessary rights (including intellectual property rights) to any content you upload. We do not endorse any User Content.

6.3 Our Intellectual Property

The GlobalClassLink name, logo, software, design, and all platform-generated content (excluding User Content) are the exclusive property of GlobalClassLink and protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written permission.

6.4 DMCA / Copyright Complaints

If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced on our platform without authorisation, please send a notice to support@globalclasslink.com with sufficient detail to identify the infringing material. We will respond promptly and, where appropriate, remove the content and take action against the responsible account.

6.5 Marketplace — Seller Obligations

Teachers who list content on the GCL Marketplace ("Sellers") represent and warrant that:

They are the original author of all content in their listing, or hold a valid, transferable licence that expressly permits resale.
Their listing does not reproduce, paraphrase, or adapt any copyrighted textbook, exam paper, publisher material, or third-party content without the rights holder's written permission.
All information in the listing title, description, and preview is accurate and not misleading.
The content is complete and substantially matches what the listing describes at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to review, reject, or remove any listing at any time. Confirmed violations may result in listing removal, forfeiture of pending earnings for the affected product, and permanent suspension of Marketplace selling privileges or the entire account.

6.6 Marketplace — Prohibited Content

The following content may not be listed on the Marketplace:

Content copied or scanned from published textbooks, question banks, or official exam papers (e.g. CBSE, JEE, NEET board papers) without a licence.
Content that plagiarises or closely paraphrases another seller's Marketplace product.
Content that is factually misleading, fraudulent, or designed to deceive students.
Any material that violates Sections 5 (Acceptable Use) or 6.1–6.4 of these Terms.

6.7 Marketplace — Earnings and Payouts

GlobalClassLink charges a 15% platform fee on each Marketplace sale. The Seller receives the remaining 85% of the sale price.

Earnings are tracked in real time in Marketplace → My Earnings. Payouts are processed on the 15th of each calendar month for all sales completed in the prior month. A minimum balance of ₹500 is required for a payout to be initiated; balances below this threshold roll over to the following month.

Sellers must add a valid bank account or UPI ID in Settings → Payouts before their first payout can be processed. We are not liable for delays caused by incorrect or missing payout details. We reserve the right to withhold or reverse a payout if a listing is found to violate these Terms after the sale.

6.8 Marketplace — Buyer Refunds

Marketplace purchases are generally non-refundable once the content has been accessed, as digital content cannot be returned. Exceptions:

The delivered content is materially different from its listing description — report within 7 days of purchase.
Payment was charged but content was not made available — we will resolve this immediately.

To raise a dispute, email support@globalclasslink.com with your order details. Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

7Quiz and Assessment Integrity

Teachers set and own their quizzes. Students must not share quiz questions, answers, or attempt other students' accounts. Academic dishonesty — including cheating, answer sharing, or impersonation during assessments — is prohibited. Teachers may report integrity violations to us, and we may take action including account suspension.

8Offline Content Access

Paid plan subscribers may download quizzes for offline use on our mobile apps. Offline content is licensed for personal educational use only. You must not redistribute, copy, or share downloaded quiz data. Offline access requires a valid paid subscription; content will be inaccessible offline if your subscription expires.

9Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.

10Third-Party Services

The Services integrate with third-party services including Google Firebase, Razorpay, and Expo. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of any third-party service.

11Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses.
Results obtained from the platform will be accurate or reliable.
Any defects in the Services will be corrected.

Educational content on the platform is user-generated. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any quiz question, assignment, or study material.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GlobalClassLink and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, revenue, or educational opportunity — arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

13Account Termination

13.1 By You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@globalclasslink.com. Closing your account does not entitle you to a refund for any unused subscription period.

13.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if:

You breach these Terms.
We are required to do so by law.
Your account has been inactive for more than 2 years.
Continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or the platform.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

14Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@globalclasslink.com. We will make good-faith efforts to resolve it within 30 days.

16General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and GlobalClassLink regarding the Services.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
